Mr. S. Srinivasan, the Founder of the Indian Institute of Directors (IID), is a seasoned Company Secretary with over 40 years of unmatched experience in corporate law, board governance, and secretarial practice. Having established his own firm in Chennai in 1984 after an accomplished professional journey in Mumbai, he has played a pioneering role in shaping ethical and compliant corporate ecosystems across India. He holds a diploma in Corporate Restructuring and Insolvency Laws and is widely respected for his deep expertise in SEBI, BIFR, IPO advisory, and mergers and acquisitions.
A renowned thought leader and educator, Mr. Srinivasan has contributed extensively as a faculty member and speaker at national forums, including IID and the Institute of Company Secretaries of India. He has trained numerous professionals now serving as Directors and Company Secretaries in major organizations.
